Philosophy and Approach

The way I approach coaching, and the way I think about running, is that it is so much more than a training plan. It is about fostering an athlete’s connection with the sport and connection with their body. It is about guiding an athlete through the complex maze of their own mind and assisting them along their journey of self discovery through running. And it is about fully immersing in the process of growth through commitment to a craft. Running can teach us so much about ourselves, and as a coach it is my goal to help you learn through the daily lessons of running and recovery. Each run is a test of fortitude, an exploration of your capabilities, and a gesture of love to yourself.

I’ve spent my life in this sport and I have felt the highs and the lows. I know what it takes to be successful, for whatever success looks like to you. I understand the necessity of being adaptable, willingness to try something new, and fostering positivity every day. I am here to share my experience, to support you as you grow, and help you make the decisions that will lead to lasting success.

I want to help athletes discover - or rediscover - a love for the sport of running. Whether you are a new runner that feels a bang of fear at the thought of trying something new, or a longtime athlete feeling anxiety or pressure from the thought of competition, I want to help you see that each run can be a gift.

Let’s get to work.

I am currently accepting new athletes!
